| June 18, 2013 The Board of Education of Independent School District #238 met in regular session on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 7:00 pm in the board room. Members present: Adkins, Kuhn, Loppnow, Swenson, Weidemann and Supt. Moriarty Members absent: Hall and Soiney Also present: Hannah Wingert, Melissa Vanderplass, Chris Hansen and Lynette Donald The meeting was called to order by Chair Kuhn. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Motion by Loppnow, second by Adkins and carried unanimously, to approve the revised agenda. Motion by Adkins, second by Swenson and carried unanimously, to approve the May 21, 2013 minutes. Motion by Weidemann, second by Loppnow and carried unanimously, to approve payment of monthly bills. Motion by Swenson, second by Adkins and carried unanimously, to approve the Speech and Language Contract Services for the 2014 school year with Innovative Therapy Solution, LLC. Motion by Loppnow, second by Weidemann and carried unanimously, to approve the resignation of Erika Lind as Special Education Paraprofessional effective at the end of 2012-2013 school year. Motion by Loppnow, second by Adkins and carried unanimously, to approve the 2012-2013 Principal Contract. (Do you want a percent of raise to show???) Motion by Adkins, second by Weidemann and carried unanimously, to approve the .6 FTE English Teacher Contract for the 2013-2014 school year for Bonnie Wenthold. Motion by Loppnow, second by Swenson and carried unanimously, to approve the Superintendent Contract with Language Change for Jennifer Backer. Motion by Adkins, second by Loppnow and carried unanimously, to approve the MSDLAF and Bank of West Signatures/On-Line Access for Todd Netzke and Jennifer Backer for the 2013-2014 school year. Motion by Swenson, second by Adkins and carried unanimously, to approve the 2013-2014 Preliminary Budget Proposal with revenues of $ and expenditures of $ . The general fund revenue is $ and expenditures of $ . Motion by Loppnow, second by Adkins and carried unanimously, to approve the Health and Safety Budget/Policy. Budget on file in district office. Motion by Adkins, second by Weidemann and carried unanimously, to approve the Lunch Price Increase by 10 cents. The new prices Breakfast $1.30; Elementary lunch $2.05; High School lunch $2.15; and Adult lunch $3.80.
