• Full-Time Custodian Starting hourly rate: $17.90; higher hourly rate with experience (includes paid holidays, sick leave and health care benefits). Summer hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday; School year hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: cleaning of facilities and additional duties related to general building and grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, able to work on their own and do heavy lifting and other types of physical work.

• 1.0 Early Childhood Special Education/Elementary Special Education Teacher

• 1.0 FTE High School Physical Education/Health (.7)/Social Studies (.3) Teacher

Position Title: Reading Tutor

Students who read have the power to succeed.
Join our team at Mabel-Canton School as a Reading Tutor, and you can support students as they become stronger readers.

Reading Tutors spend their days meeting with pairs of students in grades K-3 to help them build skills and confidence. With the support of an on-site coach, you’ll be trained to deliver activities proven to help students improve as readers.

This is an AmeriCorps member position with Reading Corps. By giving your time as a tutor, you can help more students become successful learners!
