March was National Athletic Training month, and though Covid may have changed quite a bit this year, it hasn't changed the quality of care our Athletic Trainer provides for our student athletes. We want to take the time to thank Jessica Morken, MS, ATC for everything she does for our student athletes!

Thank you Jessica Morken, for all that you do for our athletes and our athletic programs!

Hello! I'm Mrs. Horihan.

I live near Lanesboro with my husband, Kevin; and our three children, Liam (10), Fiona (8), and Rafe (6). Some of my favorite things include running and biking on the Root River Trail, reading and listening to books, listening to live music, spending time on our farm, taking photos, and staying informed on local news.

I graduated from Mabel-Canton High School and earned my BA from Winona State University in Mass Communication-Journalism. During my first career, I worked as a journalist for the Post-Bulletin in Rochester. Most recently, I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from St. Mary's University. In 2019, I worked as a High School Special Education teacher in Lanesboro.

Teaching high school English has long been a dream of mine and it's very humbling to teach in a community that I once called home. I'm excited to share my life experiences with my students.

If you have questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me before or after school at (507) 493-5422, ext. 253.
