Planning for Retirement
Learn all the things you need to know as you approach retirement, or even after you retire. You will learn what you need to plan for and consider when transitioning from guaranteed work income, to creating your own income streams. We will also go through what can derail your retirement plans, and how to prepare for those pitfalls.

Babysitting Clinic
Come learn everything you need to know about babysitting! This course is open to anyone in
grades 5-6.
Participants are asked to bring a stuffed animal or doll to practice with.
Date: Thursday, April 4th, 2024
Time: 3:15 pm – 6:30 pm
Place: Mabel-Canton Media center
Cost: $10.00 per participant
Class is limited to 15 participants.

A Firearm Safety Class will be held at the Mabel Fire Hall the week of Feb. 26-March 1st from 6:00-9:00 pm.
The final day will be held at the shooting range at the Sportsman’s Park (March 2).
This class is for anyone at least 11 years old. Anyone born after December 1979 is required to have a firearm safety card in order to purchase a hunting license in Minnesota. The class is highly recommended for anyone who is a babysitter, is interested in Trap Shooting, or any Scout who would like to earn their Rifle and Shotgun Merit Badges.
Participants should arrive at 6 pm on Monday, Feb 26th to register. Those under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present to fill out registration and waiver forms. The student must show a birth certificate or driver’s license to register.
