Firearm Safety Class 2023

 A Firearm Safety Class will be held at the Mabel Fire Hall the week of Feb. 7-11th  from 6:00-9:00 pm. This class is for anyone at least 11 years old.

Anyone born after December 1979 is required to have a firearm safety card in order to purchase a hunting license in Minnesota. The class is highly recommended for anyone who is a babysitter, any Boy Scout who would like to earn their Rifle and Shotgun Merit Badges, or anyone interested in Trap Shooting. Participants should arrive at the Mabel Fire Hall 5:45 pm on Feb. 7th to register. Those under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present to fill out registration and waiver forms. The student must show a birth certificate or driver’s license to register. Call Jamie Kelly at 507-251-3899 to pre-register, or if you have any questions. There is NO COST for this course.
