Course Description:
Students will start by learning a basic understanding of HTML and familiarity with World Wide Web terminology. Next students will learn general design concepts and the process of developing a website from start to finish. The last step will be for students transfer their knowledge to web development projects, which will require “hands on” computer experience using web development tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash.

Grading will be made up of points earned from:
Daily practice exercises in class (on-task/participation points)
Review Questions
End of Chapter Exercises

Missed Assignments:
Once the chapter test has been given to the student the student is no longer able to hand in late assignments for credit. Therefore, the student will receive a 0 (zero) in the grade book for those missing assignments.

Homework Passes:
Students who have no missing/late assignments can earn homework passes.

Grading Scale:
98-100% A+
94-97 A
90-93 A-
88-89 B+
84-87 B
80-83 B-
78-79 C+
74-77 C
70-73 C-
68-69 D+
64-67 D
60-63 D-
59 and below F
